Local Storage: We store your recent room history in your browser's local storage for convenience. This data never leaves your device.
Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, load times, and general performance metrics. No personally identifiable information is collected through these services.
No Account Required: TypeSheet does not require registration, login, or any personal information to use. We do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to:
- Provide real-time collaborative editing functionality
- Persist your documents so you can return to them later
- Improve the performance and reliability of our service
4. Data Storage and Security
Document data is stored on MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest. WebSocket connections are used for real-time sync. We implement rate limiting and connection caps to protect our infrastructure.
Documents are automatically deleted after 10 days of inactivity. We do not create backups of user documents beyond what is provided by our database provider.

- Render — backend server hosting
